Welcome to Selcen Wines Website.
We are a Turkish winery located in
Denizli, Turkey where is home to fertile lands for grapes and
civilizations for winemaking.
Our winery located in altitude of 800
mt. The region in Anatolia is famous with its own variety known as
Calkarasi. Besides, other Turkish and international varieties are
available such as Okuzgozu, Bogazkere, Misket, Cabernet Sauvignon,
Merlot, Shiraz. We have been making wine since 2004 however,
winemaking background of the region dates back to centuries ago.
We make red and white wines. Having
local expertise and scientific knowledge, we take great pride on
making better wine further.

Turkey as a grape source to the new world ;
Turkey's climate is suitable for grape growing. World's famous grapes
are grown in the region. In terms of vineyard space, Turkey is in the
4th place , and with its grape production the country stays at 5th
place amopng the world growers. Although, it should be considered that
there is plenty of space available for grape growing. Recently, there
is a trend towards growing quality grapes and quality wines.
Although we use local variety mostly, it
would be an advantage to offer a something new to already saturated
market.
